Practice these skills as homework on a daily basis.

Language Arts

·       Retell familiar stories with key details

·       Tell what authors and illustrators do

·       Participate in a conversation while using complete sentences

·       Sort common objects into categories (by color, size, shape, etc.)

·       Read 18 high-frequency words by sight

·       Read all 10 color words

·       Identify 26 uppercase letters by sight (while out of order)

·       Know 13 uppercase letter sounds

·       Identify 13 lowercase letters by sight

·       Know 13 lowercase letter sounds

·       Be able to recognize first name by sight

·       Be able to write first name

Mathematics

·       Identify numbers 0-10

·       Write numbers 0-10

·       Count to 25

·       Identify flat shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, hexagon

·       Know 10 colors: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, black, white, brown, pink
